Hello I’m Maxime and I build products

I'm a product designer who likes building fun and useful products. Over the past 9 years, I've worked on many digital products with startups, major corporations, and for myself. Among other things I was the 2nd designer in the early days of Lydia, and started my carreer in the luxury business, at Céline.

My motto

How I've been working so far, and my vision of the craft in a few words

A deep generalist with great visual skills

To me, design covers everything from user research to product strategy and hands-on craft. I care about the business impact of my decisions, and always try to understand the underlying deeper reasons why a problem needs to be solved

Timeless things and great details

I’ve worked in complex industries like finance, cybersecurity, in both B2B and B2C sectors. I believe that creating simple « no-brainer » patterns, and pushing the extra mile (animation, game design mechanisms...) is what makes a product stand out

From 0→1 to big products

I've done both and appreciate both. I can be your all-in-one solo designer who makes slide decks on Monday and user flows on Wednesday, and I can also fit in an existing team and work within given constraints and stakeholders

Learning new things

I try not to be afraid to be a beginner again. AI tools like Lovable or Cursor have already shifted my day-to-day practice of design by enabling me to go deeper into building products, helping me make my ideas more tangible than a Figma prototype
